Story time & a new trick

Grammy was in town for a couple days so Samantha got a special treat & read a book with Grammy & Great Granny before bed. She also has a new trick...she can put her whole foot in her mouth! I swear she's going to be a gymnast!

Big Girl Highchair

We started feeding Samantha in her highchair. It makes life so much easier. As you can see she likes to feed herself!

Passover

I'm trying to keep up my blog for my few loyal readers:)

This weekend Samantha celebrated her 1st Passover. We also went to the duck pond with Aunt Jill to throw our Chametz (getting rid of bread) into the pond but the ducks were full since we waited until Saturday to go.

Samantha is 6 Months!

Samantha turned 6 months last Friday, April 11! We had her pictures taken and one with Grammy for our 1st Mother's Day! Enjoy!

A Walk to the Pond...

Last Saturday we went to Aunt Vicki's for a visit and took a nice walk along the trails in Columbia (where Aunt Vicki loves) to a nearby pond. It was such a beautiful day and as usual I had my camera on hand. After our walk Samantha played on her mat showing off and rolling over non-stop. Then it was nap time while Great-Granny babysat. It was a nice day!

p.s. Samantha is 6 months today (4/11/08)!!!

Oatmeal's a thing of the past...

We've moved onto sweet potatoes- yum! I think Samantha really liked them. We tried bananas last night but it was close to bed time so she wasn't really that into it. We hit a milestone last week.........Samantha rolled over on her tummy! She hasn't stopped since. Everytime we lay her on her back she rolls over. It's adorable. She's getting to be such a big girl it's crazy- she's so alert & has such a cute personality. She goes Tuesday for her 6 month check up. Friday, April 11 she turns 6 months! Craziness! We're celebrating by going to visit Grammy at "the farm" (my mom lives on the Eastern Shore) and we're getting Samantha's pictures taken. I'm still debating what she's going to wear...girls are so much fun!
